My Poster(GLOBAL WARMING)
This is my poster.......It is about global warming.It causes the icebergs at polar pole to melt and the santa claus lose it houses.......and the presents floating on the sea.......Step 8
I type the sentences is to make the people more understand with my poster....Everyone has it different opinion...so with this sentences, it will be more sure that my poster is all about global warming.
Step 7
That the message I wanted to tell people....I used type tool to write the sentences....WHERE SHOULD SANTA STAY?.....This is to show that the icebergs are melted and the living things at the polar pole lose their houses..............as well as Santa Claus......=)

It is the weather.....I used rectangular tool to draw it.......after that....i painted it with orange with some red.......This is to show the heat of the weather......and to let other people fell the global warming is around us.Step 5
That the sun..I used paintbrush tool to draw the shape of the sun with brushes(chalk scribble)..
I think the shape and the colour is nice as it show us the "HEAT"....=)

That is the sea...i use rectangular tools to fit the A3 size....after that.....i cloured it with blue and applied gradient on it....Step 3
After that...i draw the presents with rectangular tools.i used pen tool to draw the wave.Next, i used pathfinder(divide) to devide the bottom part of the present and the wave....and make it look like floating on the sea.I used rectangular tools to draw the ribbon of the present and i coloured it with different colour.

This is the only ice cube which can only stand by a santa claus.I used pen tool to draw it and i colour it light blue....and i used some gradient on it..

This is the 1st step of my illustrator...I traced it from a sketch...
After that..i coloured the part of body and the candy cane.
Global Warming
What happen if icebergs start to melt?...
Well.....the sea level rise, flood and horrible disasters will happen.
When water is heated it expands and icebergs start to melt if the temperature is over 0 degrees.
Icebergs are huge.So as you can imagine, if you were to melt it you would get an awful lot of water.But icebergs won't melt completely.It'll just increases the sea level.
Do you know why icebergs melt?..
It's because of the temperature of earth started to increase.That the reason why the icebergs will melt...So do you get it now?..
If keep it going on, we will lose our land...our sky....and our earth....
There are some ways we can do to lower the temperature of the earth...
People should stop open-burning....Stop burning rubbish.....
No smoking as well...
People also can share the vehicles to places.
The most importance things is "Stop destroying the forest".They provide us oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide....and it'll decrease the heat as carbon dioxide is absorbed.
So what are you waiting for...let do it...

Methods and Ways
First of all....I used Illustrator to complete my assignmet...
THE PUMPKIN
1.I used circle to draw the outline of the pumpkins.
2.I used pen tool to draw the eyes, mouth and line of the pumpkins.
3.I used mesh tool to colour the pumpkins with different tone of colours.
4.I used mesh tool again to extend the shape of the pumpkins.
5.I repeated step 1 to 5 by drawing different shape of pumpkins.
6.I used stylize and dropped shadow around the pumpkins
THE CREEPY TREE
1.I used pen tool to draw the outline of the tree.
2.I used pen tool again to draw the eye and mouth of the tree.
3.I used gradient on the tree to show the darkness and brightness of the tree.
4.i copied 13 trees and change the shape and painted it in black.i placed them as the background.
THE BATS
1.I used pen tool to draw the outline of the bat.
2.I drawed another 2 bat with the pen tool.
3.I duplicated each of them and changed the size.
4.I used gradient on the bats.
THE CLOUDS
1.I used pen tool to draw the clouds.
2.I used gradient on them.
THE MOON

2.I used mesh tool to painted the moon.
3.I placed the moon in the middle of the clouds.

Halloween
About Halloween
Halloween, or Hallow e'en, is a holiday celebrated on the night of October 31 .most notably by children dressing in costumes and going door-to-door collecting sweets, fruit, and other treats. Apart from this trick-or-treating, there are many other traditional Halloween activities. Symbol
The carved pumpkin, lit by a candle inside, is one of Halloween's most prominent symbols.The jack-o'-lantern element of the Halloween tradition can be traced back to the Irish story of Stingy Jack, a greedy, gambling, hard drinking old farmer who tricked the devil into climbing a tree and trapped him by carving a cross into the trunk of the tree. In revenge, the devil places a curse on old Jack which dooms him to wander the earth at night for eternity. For centuries, this bed time parable was told by Irish parents to their children. At Halloween time, the children carved out turnips, placing a candle inside to symbolize Jack's curse.

Black and orange are the traditional colors of Halloween. In modern Halloween images and products, purple, green, and red are also prominent.

Method Used
First, we were asked to use Adobe Illustrator to draw our personal symbol. In the start, i scan my sketch of the personal symbol to my computer. After that i traced the personal symbol with pen tool. Next, after i traced, i group all of the part together. i used the ellipse tool to draw the moon and sun. i also use the rectangle tool to draw the sun light.After that, i use mesh tool to colour the symbol. At the end of the process, i save it and post to this blog.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Personal Characteristic :
First of all, i would like to briefly introduce myself. My name is Sim Wee Seng. I use the letter " S " to represent my name. Next, i shaded both part of the " S " with white and black. This is to show my characteristic as i am a quite emotional guy. i'll be sad while after a second i can be happy. In my symbol, i used two different type of wings to show that sometimes i'm cruel and bad just like a " DEVIL " whereas sometimes i'll be as kind as an " ANGEL ". I also put an arrow on top the " S " to represent that i'm male a still a boy. ^-^...Furthermore, i used a sun which one side of the sun was a moon. This is to represent that i believed in " SPIRITUAL ". Sun usually attributed with positive forces, such as lucky, goodness, love, warmth and joy whereas Moon usually represent unlucky and evil. These values always shown in my characteristics as sometimes i will be very lucky and sometimes opposite...
Now let talk about the colour i used.As i mentioned just now, The colour of white and black in the " S " represented me as a emotional guy as white represent happy while black represent sad. Next, the left wing of the symbol i painted in red and black in colour. This is to show the bad and devil in me. In the other hand, i also painted the right wing which is an angel wing in blue in colour. This is to represent my good and kind characteristic. I painted the arrow on top the " S " in dark blue was to represent i'm a male. Last but not least, i used orange colour in the half sun was to show the positive values i had. Yellow colour was used in the half moon to show the negative values in my characteristic.
